Walking in the Cotswold's
Walking in the Cotswold's is very popular as there are over 3000 miles of footpaths, bridleways and byways throughout Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds and many of the long distance routes that dissect the county traverse the Cotswolds, particularly in the north. Each of the routes can be easily broken down into day walks using public transport or by using lanes and other public rights of way to create circular routes. The most famous and longest in the area is The Cotswold Way, a 100 mile walk running from north to south.
